Drive to keep warm in a future where govt has rationed fuel so that only big tech gets any. Proles get the workhouse, no fuel, no nothing, slaves to the machine.

In 2040 AI has taken everything. Humans work dangerous, hard, jobs that the AI decided weren't worth sending their robots to do. Humans are kept around, maybe for diversity, maybe because death is even harder. Use of fuel is strictly rationed for the data centres. Many gravitate toward the habitable workhouses.

You are part of the underground resistance movement who have opted for a life outside of the massive labour farms commonly known as workhouses. Authorities turn a blind eye if you are not flashy. The sewers are warm, and cleaner after depopulation events. Your network is waiting there for you to complete the fuel run, in their prized Toyota AE86. You volunteered because it's freedom, and warmth at the wheel.
